Wind Power
Wind power, and how it works.
Wind power is the conversion of wind turning it into a useful power source.
There are many power sources that range from electricity to the movements of things. The majority of wind power generated energy is from places known as wind farms. These wind farms have 3-4 bladed turbines that are rotated by the force of the wind. When the turbines move electricity and energy is created. The idea on wind powered devices has been around since 100 AD , the commonly used wind power used then was for the boat and a windmill. In the last 200 years the more advanced turbine creation for electricity was invented by a male named Charles F. Brush. Currently the country with the highest amount of installed wind power turbines is currently Germany.
The movement of objects that rely on wind such as:
Boats rely on the wind on the sea to travel, also planes that fly with the air known as gliders use the wind to propel then. And some land vehicles use the wind to move them.
