Three Major Benefits of an International Bullet Train

The United States not having a bullet train is quite ridiculous. There are so many benefits that the United States could reap, it’s almost ludicrous not to have one.

The Bullet Train first came into full realization with the Mt. Fuji bullet train in Japan.  Currently there are numerous trains in 10 different countries.  The benefits are numerous and worth a look.  I propose 3 grand ideas:

  1. A bullet train is never 30 min late or early. The train is so accurate, so unbreakable, that they are never ridiculously late or early.  This then eradicates the stress and problems that arise with trains of today.  In fact, with the advent of a real tin me table, you have a feasible way of getting to and from work that rivals all other modes of transportation.
  2. A bullet train opens up more of the country. The trains travel at speeds between 250mph-300mph.  The fastest train clocked out at 361.  That means New York to Chicago in 2 1/2 hours.  New York to Los Angeles in 8 hours rather than the 3 1/2 days it takes now.  It takes 6 hours on a plane.  In most metropolitan cities,  the idea of a 3 hour commute is laughable.  This has become such a normal thing, that it is accepted as a fact.  That daily commute becomes anywhere in a 900 miles radius.
  3. A bullet train is safer than other modes of transportation. One of the most dangerous ways of commuting is the car, and we Americans love it.  However, when the bullet train is brought up this is a major defense.  There have been only a handful of train crashes in the history of the train, and more than 1/2 caused very little human destruction.
