Equinox is when the sun crosses the “celestial equator, making night and day equal anywhere on the planet. Photos taken by Cassini show, however, still unidentified objects like umbrellas and irregular structures including flat rings of Saturn.
After a few days, scientists at NASA announced the discovery of an unknown structure has entered Saturn’s F ring, inclined orbit, moving the field behind.Event that happened in the past, but also in Equinox.
Saturn’s orbit is so large that Equinox occurs only once every 15 years on Earth. It is, therefore, the first equinox of 1994 so far and the first such phenomenon was surprised by a probe.
