RuneScape 1-99 Mining Guide

This guide is strictly for members only. There is really no fast way to level in free to play just power mine your butt to 99.
From levels 1-15 you will mine copper or tin ore. Just drop them, banking them isn’t worth the time.
From level 15-45 you will mine iron ore. Iron ore may be banked, it’s really up to you. If you mine in the dwarven mine and bank in the dungeoneering bonus area it’s worth it.
From 45 to 77 you have 3 options. You can contain mining iron, you can mine coal and other ores as you level up (coal, gold, mith, addy), the third option is granite. It’s really up to you. Granite is fastest but no money, iron is average money and exp and various ore is good money but slower exp.
From 77-80 go to living rock caverns(go to worlds 77 and 84, they are the unoffical worlds) and there you will mine coal deposits. You bank the coal pretty much where you enter the cave and repeat until you reach level 80.
From 80-99 you mine the gold deposits at living rock caverns. It’s not fast exp, but it’s AFK able and decent money.
If you want to increase mining exp per hour you can do three things. You can use mining urns, use the highest one possible, this gives you bonus exp. For example a decorated mining urn(best out there for mining) gives you 625 additional exp per around 3300 exp gained. Not bad. Another method is to use a summoning familiar that gives you mining boost. I think there are 3 familiars that do so, the best being a lava titan. The last method is to use juju potions. When taken the potions give you the possiblity of automating banking.
