Quick Stain Removers for Carpet and Clothing

It happens to the best of us; we spill something on the carpet or on our clothes or perhaps both. It’s not too big of a problem unless we find ourselves without the right stain removal product on hand. That’s no longer a problem if you have these two products on hand, and most people do.

Quick Carpet Stain Remover

When something is spilled on carpeting, use paper towel to blot up as much of the spill as possible, then grab a wipe to remove the stain. A baby wipe or makeup removal wipe will do the job nicely. Blot the spill with the wipe, turning the wipe over as it absorbs the stain. Continue blotting stain with wipe(s) until it’s gone, then blot area with a damp paper towel.

Quick Stain Remover for Clothing

Got a stain on your favorite blouse but no SHOUT! To get it out? Head for the bathroom and grab the bottle pf hydrogen peroxide to remove the clothing stain. Peroxide has similar stain fighting power to that of color-safe bleach, and it can be applied directly to most fabrics (spot test in a hidden place first). Moisten a cotton ball or paper towel with hydrogen peroxide and dab the stain, then launder clothing item as usual.
