Something all of us need!

We can all do with less stress, and more energy. Here follow a few sure-fire ways of getting some.

1.      Take a power nap

Just sit back close your eyes and let yourself fall asleep for 5 to 10 minutes. You can do this on buses, trains or even in your lunch break. The key is that you sit up in a chair and fall asleep. If you fall asleep on a bed, you will be tempted to stay in bed, and it will be a great hassle for you to get out of bed. Since chairs are not normally very comfortable to sleep in, you will wake up in a few minutes feeling energized and refreshed.

2.      Eat smaller more frequent meals

Eat a small meal every 2 to 3 hours. It helps keep your energy levels more even throughout the day.

3.      Modify boring activities

Certain activities tend to make us feeling lazy. It is usually those on your “have to do list” and not those on your “want to do list”. If you are at your work, take a break and watch a funny online movie clip, send someone a sms or take a walk around your offices. As long as you do this for not too long, you can return to work with more vigor.

4.      Use the power of full focus

Often we do not have the energy needed because we do not demand it from our minds and bodies. To demand more focus and productivity out of your body, use the power of full focus. Whatever activity you are busy with; apply all your focus and energy on that task. Do not let your mind drift off to past or future problems, because this uses also drains our energy

5.      Eliminate, eliminate and eliminate some more.

Often we are out of our energy because we are trying to do too much with our time.

Instead of focusing on activities that are productive and rewarding, we are busy with ineffective, useless tasks.  Use the power elimination, and increase your productivity. This will help you make more time for important tasks in your day.

  • Suck a mint
  • Breathe deeply
