A Real Human Who Can Conduct Electricity!
Zhang Deke can use his power as a human conductor to charge six 13-watt lightbulbs, by simply placing them on his ears and head!
Zhang Deke, is a human conductor of electricity! He first discovered his ability to conduct electricity at the age of 47. When he was changing a lightbub, he accidently touched a live wire. Instead of recieving a shock or being electrocuted, he felt next to nothing. He tried it again, putting his hand on the live wire again, and realised his body could conduct electricity!
In 1994, Zhang was examined at the “Chinese Academy of Sciences”, where experts said he has an unspecified physical dysfunction. He has the amazing ability to light bulbs up, and even control their brightness. He also cooked a fish which he held in his hands as the current flowed through his body, in just two minutes!
Zhang, who is 71 now, is a retired highway maitenance worker from Altay City, China. He often excercises by hooking himself up to live electricity supplies! With both his hands holding the wires, he allows 220 volts of electricity to run through his body. While doing this, he feels no ill effects. This is the same charge that an electric eel delivers to a human, lethal and has the ability to kill!
Zhang often delivers eletrical therapy to help his friends and relatives who are suffering from things such as arthritis, lumbago and rheumatism. One of his friends had been very sick for a while with lumbar hyperplasia, but nine months after recieving shock therapy from Zhang he was outside, riding a bicycle.
There is no definite answer as to why people can conduct electricity, but doctors believe that the ability to conduct electricity may be governed by a person’s health and becomes more marked in the aftermath if a serious illness or disease.
