Iihs Recommend a New Method of Test Frontal Hit

NEW YORK – The safety of the vehicle becomes important and a major requirement in producing avehicle. In the United States (U.S.) there are several organizations devoted to testing the safety of new vehicles to be able to measure how much the salvation of the car.

One of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), which introduces a new method for the vehicle crash test forntal. Thus was launched Inautonews, Thursday (16/08/2012).

This new method has actually been held in 1995, but because itwas considered not effectively eliminated. This time the method that will be corrected in the frontal crash test vehicles will betested and simulated crash into a tree or pole hit with a speed of 64 km/h.

In the last week, the IIHS has been doing thisnew method to test the 11 luxury cars, including the Acura TL, Volvo S60, Infiniti G, Acura TSX, BMW 3 Series, Lincoln MKZ, Volkswagen CC, Mercedes-Benz C-Class,Lexus IS 250/350, Audi A4 and Lexus ES 350.
