“Hiriko Fold” a Car That Can be Folded
Scientists from MIT’s Changing Places group collaborated with Denokinn, agents of the Spanish Basque developer, to develop the Hiriko Fold, a kind of “city car” that can be folded.

This car was created for people who want the urban private vehicle to drive around town with a convenient, fast, practicaland environmentally friendly.
Fold Hiriko is an electric car with a high degree of complexity, the size is quite small, so that the load to be stored or parked in tight spaces. In fact, if the available space is very narrow, this car can fold by itself.
Vehicle with two seats, it can run up to 75 mill (about 120 km) away, when the battery is fully charged. The car is also equippedwith wheels ‘zero-turn radius’ which enables it to move sideways, making parallel parking a breeze.
Currently, the prototype Hiriko Fold currently in trial in several cities in Europe, and the plan thiscar will be sold in the market in 2013, with a price range of 10 thousand pounds, or approximately USD 150 million dollars.
