Future Transport

Vacuum Tube System allows travel around the globe in six hours.

Transportation and energy efficiency are big issues in every society. One company has invented a revolutionary style of transport that is faster and cheaper than any method currently used. Vacuumed tube transport is basically an airless cylindrical container (that resembles an elongate soda can) large enough to carry six people and luggage.

The container travels through frictionless mag live tracks and can reach speeds of up to 6,500 kilometers per hour. This produces a maximum of 1g of force which (g-force means gravitational force in relation to the object in motion) the passengers won’t feel while traveling. This allows a person to go from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes, or New York to China in 2 hours. The vacuumed system can be built for one tenth the cost of a high speed rail system and a quarter of the cost for building a freeway. Check out the video below for what just may be the future of modern transportation.
