Fresh Pics of The Enceladus Flyby

What underlies in the Enceladus’ geysers?

The Photos you see below are the pics of the Enceladus. It is is the sixth-largest moon of the Saturn. They are made on November the 2nd by the passing by the Cassini.

Here you can see incredible streams, which are spouting out from the surface of the moon. These are fresh unedited screens.

The Cassini was passing The Enceladus on the range of 100 kilometres from its surface. In comparison  with the previous flyby the cosmic spacecraft approached the moon approximately up to 25 km closer.

On the facts, retrieved from the CICLOPS website the third picture was made in the green light with the help of the narrow-angled camera on board of the Cassini with the range about 14000 km from the Enceladus.

The cosmic spacecraft should have entered the streams of the geyser, but at the moment there are no images from the source of the geyser. The aim of this flyby was to analyze the particles in the geyser’s stream with the help of the instruments, which can measure the mass, the saturation, the speed and the structure of the particles. The spacecraft spent only a minute in the stream.
