You have just seen that the soup is too salty and you panic! How to save the situation? Here are some tips for coming to the end of the dilemma:

Water: simply add an additional water to your soup and stir.

White sugar: add sugar to the soup to reduce its excessively high salt content.

Fresh cassava or potatoes: Peel the tubers of cassava or fresh potatoes. Then cut them into small slices and put in the sauce. Cook the pieces of cassava or potatoes.

These pieces of cassava or potatoes will absorb the surplus while cooking salt that you do not need. And there you go, the soup is no longer too salty.
