Egypt :Stolen “Radioactive Sources” of a Nuclear Power Plant Under Construction Suck

Al-Ahram newspaper said on Thursday that "radioactive sources" were stolen from a nuclear power plant under construction on the Mediterranean coast in Egypt had witnessed violent protests, but a spokesman denied that the protesters.

Al-Ahram said the station staff refused to go to the site because of the deteriorating security situation there.

It was about 500 residents near the site Dabaa station stormed the site on Friday and demanded an end to construction of the project.

He said a security source and witnesses said soldiers from the army threw stones and fired shots with the protesters after demonstrators destroyed a wall surrounding the site, which covers an area 60 km. The protesters said that the thieves blew up the warehouse and seized the wire and electrical equipment was inside in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Residents say that the government Awwadthm from Earth in 1981 but did not receive the compensation, but in 2004, which made a very low value.
