Each Window Could Become a Solar Panel

See latest research in solar panels…

Thanks to new technology developed by Norwegian company EnSol over about five years could be used for the transformation and windows for energy.

The technology involves using a new material – a film consisting of metallic nano particles embedded in a matrix of a transparent composite material.

Film could be included in the component factory windows or stuck later on pre-existing structures: the exterior walls or the roofs of cars.

The foil acts as a solar cell, solar radiation energy transforming into electricity.

The team at EnSol, in collaboration with the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, currently working on improving the manufacturing technology in order to increase efficiency to 20%.
