Zeno the Robot Boy May be Smarter Than You are

Meet Zeno the robot boy, who thinks, shows emotions, hears, sees and learns from the internet.

Zeno
is just like a ready made child. He is a robot that can talk, see, hear, and even recognise people.

His expresses emotions like sadness, happiness, amazement, and many more. He can work wirelessly on his own or can be connected to a computer so that he can hold a conversation.

ABC 23 LOOKS AT ZENO’S EXPRESSIONS

These expressions are amazing but the really scary part is that if you allow Zeno to access the internet he can continue learning and become super intelligent. He can even teach you what he learns.

Zeno is just one of a collection of Robot Kids developed by Hanson Robotics in2007. There are twelve motors in his rubber face and another eighteen throughout his body, so he is capable of a whole lot of facial expressions and body movements.

INTRODUCING ZENO

He has a facial recognition camera behind one of his huge eyes and is actually better at facial recognition than any human being.

New things are constantly being added to his repertoire and the possibility of building a computerised android type of robot, like those featured in science fiction movies is moving ever closer.

I want one. Do you think I have enough time left to ask Santa? Can you imagine how our pets would react to this?

Hey, Judy, I want one too. I think my dog might be afraid of Zeno though. He is a huge dog but he’s even frightened of chickens (unless they are roasted)!!!

Me too. Where can I find one? I could use an extra brain to work stuff out for me and then just give me the results.

Very appealing and cute! Better than a cabbage patch doll!
