More Useful Inventions
Some possibilities to consider, and some to chuckle at.
I mentioned in my other article on useful inventions, that there would be more coming, so here you go. First, I want to make it clear that some of these are strictly just for humor, and the others could actually be done if the right money, time and persistence were available. (And technology).
- An electro-luminescent paint that would enable the user to control the brightness and color. The paint would be applied as any other wall cover, however it would be clear or white until you put a tiny voltage to it (by way of contactors inserted into the wall). This of course would also mean that the paint would have to be conductive. Once the current would be applied the user could control the brightness and color by way of a device similar to a dimmer. (This is only an idea). I do know there are various luminescent paints available, which absorb light and put off a glow when in the darkness. However, youcannot control the color or the brightness. Also, the light only lasts so long. Far fetched?
- 24 hour customer phone support. FOR REAL. (I’ll let you use your imagination on that one).
- A genetically engineered variety of vegetable seeds that grow like weeds, and have the ability to choke the weeds out… (Who knows? The movies gave us the man eating plant)>
- An electrolytic capacitor efficient and cabable of storing energy for days at a time, where you could get only the desired amount of power you want. This would be similar to a typical oscillator circuit, only on a larger scale, and much more versitlale. It could be used like an “storage tank.” It could be used in combination with a battery and voltage regulator…(Do they have this yet?).
- A wireless water level detector for the blind. This would be just a modification of a typical liquid level sensor, only wireless. The person would carry a wireless receiver with him (or have one place in the appropriate room), and would be notified in the event of say, a bathtub overflowing.(Do they have this one?).
- ROAD CONSTRUCTION. (Oxymoron or what?).
- The ability to harness and efficiently use the power of an electric eel. (Shocking!).
- A predatatory insect that has an appetite for lovebugs. (It’s a “Florida thing.”)
- A car radio modified to have the ability to switch to a forex platform update, a hands free cellphone call, or a weather alert. The screen would change display just as when you change a radio station. (Coming out soon?)
That’s all for now, and remember Philo Farnsworth (T.V. idea as a teenager!), Thomas Edison, and the like. People laughed. But you know what happened.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for the comments.
