Hooked on Classics: The Tesla Coil Performing Sci-Fi Themes
Do not try this at home folks! A Faraday cage bodice suit and Tesla coil unite, to perform some amazing acts of videography like you have never witnessed before!

The Darth Vader March, From STAR WARS
Watch this video. Okay, I am officially impressed! I have always wanted to stand on the Tesla coil platform and do this. When I was in school we had a Tesla coil exhibition come in, a fellow student was selected to be the participant. I was so jealous I could barely contain myself but what I saw more than satisfied my curiosity. This comes very close!

A DOCTOR WHO musical, to the Stylings of the Tesla Coil
HAARP?

The HAARP or “High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program.” This may be what this next video clip is about. It too is a Tesla coil, apparently involved in atmospheric research. The business of HAARP seems to come up in conversation involving “Black Operations”, -secret government coverups, top secret and unmarked helicopter reconnaissance discussions.
I have no idea what they are about, but Wikipedia cites that this organization is dedicated to “…provide a research facility to conduct pioneering experiments in ionospheric phenomena… used to analyze basic ionospheric properties and to assess the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for communications and surveillance purposes.” I included this video as it too is a Tesla Coil, on a much larger scale.
Sounds like ‘Black Ops’ to me. They have pretty kewl toys though, huh?

I must say that the collective conscious never ceases to amaze me. I have never seen the tesla coil utilized musically and I am very happy to have seen it.

This is officially the coolest thing I’ve seen in weeks. I honestly didn’t know Tesla coils could do that, I’ve only ever seen them sparking away in old Frankenstein movies. Amazing videos!
On May 2, 2009 at 8:26 am
YES! -And those old Frankenstein movies actually used REAL Tesla coils! That was never ‘SPFX’. -Awesome, eh?
I have found sites and vids that show in detail how to MAKE your OWN Tesla coil, using (for instance) automotive components! A ‘tabletop Tesla coil’
Seriously… that man! -I have been to Colorado Springs numerous times and every time vowed to (and failed to~) visit the Nikola Tesla Museum there. Among other things, there is a battery/storage cell of his invention that still to this day packs quite a wallop!

MY GOD!!! That was awesome!!! I never even knew you could do such a thing!!!
