Chemically Engineered Foods

Science and its degenerating effects.

One of the most pressing problems of our mother Earth is hunger[1]. To find a solution for this problem is certainly very important for hunger-stricken countries.

If we consider, scientists are masters of semantic gymnastics[2]! They once said television was harmless. Now they say that it affects your eyes. They once said that breathing through the mouth was no problem. Now they say that it is harmful since bacteria and viruses can enter. They are saying that genetically modified foods are harmless. You can guess what they will say later. Apart from equivocation, these foods will also be the cause of unemployment. While these foods will feed many mouths, they will also snatch food away from many mouths.

But everything, which has disadvantages, has advantages. If this test’s proven, then a lot of people will get good-quality food at estimatedly low costs. And the major factor will be erasing hunger from this world. In a recent survey conducted by NRA [National Research Association][3], in every second, five children are being born in America alone[4]. In the light of this case, genetically modified foods will be the only source to feed the over-growing population.

To be frank, my personal view is that we all should stick to the old, chemical-free foods, as it will certainly have no danger lurking inside it.

You’re right. It IS an interesting topic.

Oh, and here’s a little fun fact I’ve been itching to share with everyone. Did you know that Japan has genetically modified watermelons to make them cuboid (rectangular)? Just think! Rectangular watermelons!

And the Japanese say it’s going to save shelf space since it’s easier to stak rectangular watermelons rather than oval ones.

    :)

I think they’ll be making cucumbers round so that women stop using it as dildos.

    :P
