2012 Smart Fortwo Review

In the segment of compact cars, Smart Fortwo is one of the high performance vehicles.

In this post, a brief note on 2012 Smart Fortwo review is covered with significant details.

Details of 2012 Smart Fortwo

For 2012, Smart Fortwo is available in the form of an electric vehicle. This car will not go on trade until 2012, but in October 2010 Smart will begin providing four-year leases on the first 250 electric Fortwos in the U.S. This vehicle is fully loaded with a 30-kilowatt drive motor and Smart Fortwo electric drive for enhanced acceleration. The Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has a range of 82 miles per charge.

Key Details

Similar to most electric vehicles, Smart Fortwo Electric Drive will have limitations compared to cars, which are powered by internal combustion. However, Smart is trying to overpass the space. The Fortwo Electric Drive will give an 82-mile range and its 16.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery can charge up to 80 percent from a 20 percent charge in 3 and a half hours by making use of a 220 volt outlet. A full charge will take 8 hours. The battery can also be charged with a regular household 110 volt outlet, but will apparently take longer.

These are some details of this vehicle revealed in 2012 Smart Fortwo review.
