It is hard to believe that the universe is over fifteen billion years old, that it was created with a large explosion in space. Then it took millions of years to create galaxies, and eventually the stars we see in our sky today. Science is simply magnificent as we learn more and more about our world.

Several theories have been presented concerning the origin of the earth. The religious particularly the Christians, have their theory of divine creation. They believe that God created the earth and everything found around and on it including men.
