I never knew that the Earth had another moon apart from The Moon. But what is this new moon that has decided to steal our already (beautiful) moon of its honour?

Jupiter is the largest of the planets in our solar system. 62 moons orbit around it and it is covered with a thick layer of gas and clouds.

Our solar system is a place that we still know very little about. In an effort to learn more about the planets around us, NASA plans to launch exploration missions to Jupiter and Saturn.

Astronomers have discovered the presence of more than 70 planets orbiting stars other than our sun. Much too distant to be photographed, astronomers rely on x-ray data, optical data, and radio image data, just to name a few, to piece together an idea of what these other worlds might look like.
