Jon Maddog Hall Get’s Out of The Closet in Honor of Alan Turing
On Sunday in the weekend when the world celebrated the centenary of Alan Turing, the “father of modern computing”, the executive director of International Linux and the free software guru, Jon “Maddog” Hall wrote a post which states his homosexual, a tribute to the brilliant English mathematician who was humiliated and chemically castrated in England in the 1950s for being gay, and committed suicide in 1954.
