Fibonacci Series: Magical Numbers
The Golden Ratio was known to mathematicians since before 300BC.
Is beauty really in the eye of the beholder – or are we predisposed to see what is beautiful simply due to nature itself? Does nature have it’s own code of beauty through mathematics? Some of the most beautiful things are constructed following the rule of the golden ratio, golden rectangle and golden spiral.
Phi, the Golden Ratio, the key to beauty, the Divine Proportion…what is Phi? Everyone should know…
In mathematics, the limit of Fibonacci series is called as Golden Ratio. This ratio is approximately equal to 1,618. In nature, one can come across this ratio in many areas of art and science. Fibonacci sequence actually has a very unique characteristic. Dividing a number with previous number allows you to get approximately similar result. However, the result will be the same after the 13th number inside the series: 1,618 that is Golden Ratio.
