The Pink Nosed Hippopotamus or the pink nose hippo, comes from the ancient Greek for "river horse". The Pink Nosed Hippopotamus lives in sub-Saharan Africa. But unlike the lesser spotted nosed Hippopotamus who loves to wallow in mud and water the pink nosed Hippopotamus prefers more dryer land and has chosen for his home the Sahara Desert.
