Life on Moon
I don’t prefer to live on the moon.
Notes for Campbell’s AP Biology book chapter 50 on ecology. Can be used for studying or homework help.
Dead animal smell is one of the most repulsive and terrible smells that you can have in your home. When an animal dies, bacteria and fungus set into the carcass which will then attract bugs and other disease-carrying parasites.
The carbon cycle is a complex Earth system whereby carbon dioxide (CO2) is exchanged among four main regions of the planet. In the carbon cycle, CO2 is recycled through the atmosphere, biosphere, geosphere and oceans and other waterways in what are called "sinks" or reservoirs.
Earth is the only planet on which life exists. It consists of three components Lithosphere (Land), Hydrosphere (Water) and Atmosphere (Air). Life originated and evolved because of this unique combination of the three components and was ideal and favorable for life. The life supporting zone of the earth where atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere meet, interact and make life possible, is known as biosphere.
Ecology is the scientific study of the processes influencing the distribution and abundance of organisms, the interactions among organisms, and the interactions between organisms
and the transformation and flux of energy and matter. In an ecosystem there is a cycle of elements but not of energy. There is a continues input of solar energy and chemical energy. Read this article to learn important terms related with ecology.
This is a review of Biological terms and knowledge necessary to succeed in biology.
