Bioluminescence is a phenomenon in which light is produced by an organism through a chemical reaction. Usually animals produce luminescence for four reasons, to escape from predators, to lure prey, to attract mates (for courtship) and to communicate. Different animals produce different colors of light; some red, some green, blue and so on. Let us know about this mechanism of rainbow colors emitted by various organisms.
