What is Friction?

Friction is a type of natural chemistry that occurs when two objects touch each other. It slows down the movement of it as friction works against the direction that the objects may be moving. Sometimes friction is something that is in the way of what you are trying to accomplish. However, in many instances the use of friction has been able to be used effectively as a resource.

Sometimes friction is something that is in the way of what you are trying to accomplish. However, in many instances the use of friction has been able to be used effectively as a resource.
There is no way to remove friction as it is part of the gravitational pull. Friction is not known to exist in outer space though where everything is weightless. On Earth though friction is what allows us to have things stationary and that only move when we want them to. We rely on friction to keep our world in order even though it is often a given force that we don’t pay a whole lot of attention to.

Many scientists have been able to manipulate friction due to being able to fully identify what it is. The areas of technology that we have allow various types of accessories to be implemented to reduce the levels of friction. This is very acceptable as you can’t fully get rid of it. You may as well decide to use it to your advantage.

Some people believe that due to the amount of energy that is stopped with friction, that energy is lost. Yet that isn’t entirely true because that energy is generally changed into another form such as heat. What we all know about friction and how it is used is in simple terms. Yet there are plenty of complicated equations and years of scientific research involved in order to get us to that point.

Friction needs to be used though instead of fought against. You will have no luck in getting past this point. You will only be making a task more difficult for yourself if you aren’t paying attention to the friction that is going on. Take the time to evaluate the situation so you can work smarter instead of having to work harder. Friction is really interesting so the more you learn about it the more you can take advantage of it.
