In our times , time travel is the most common subject . People make movies about time traveling ,they write books … even songs .Every human thinks that he knows what is the time . Some say it is like a movie , and we are the actors , some say you cannot change time . Well , people always loved time . Why ? Because we don’t know what is the time . We don’t know if it is dark matter , photons or any other type of matter . We simply can’t define time ! Nobody saw the time , touched it or smelled it . We are using object to measure time , but actually we are not measuring time . We just measure an objects movement . So ,the question is: what is the time ? Or : can we travel through time ?

   One year ago , i was writing a homework , when an idea “hit” me : can time have a “buffer” ? So i started thinking , writing , and drawing whatever passed my mind until i found the answer . Yes ! Time has a buffer . You may ask yourselves : what is a time buffer ? Let’s say you open an online streaming movie . What will happen ? The movie won’t start . Why ? You will have to wait for a portion of 1-2 minutes of the movie to load .After it loaded , the movie will start , but another part will be loaded while you are watching the movie . You can choose to watch the movie , or play again the last 5 minutes of the part that has been loaded . What if you want to watch the end of the movie ? You can’t , because the buffer has not been loaded .

   The drawing i made shows time as a movie . The time is being represented by the continuous line ( ——– ) . The |P| represents the part of the movie , in hours , minutes and seconds  , that you are watching at the moment . The part between |P| and | ( |P|——|  ) represents the buffer that has been loaded . After | , there is nothing , because the movie did not loaded  ( |——- ) . We assume |P| is our Present . The buffer that has been loaded is the Past . The buffer that has not been loaded is the Future . The Future is made from the buffer that has been loaded between |P| and | , and the buffer that has not yet been loaded . 

   Let’s say i want to travel in the Past . Am I able to do that ? Yes ! Because the time ( buffer ) has been written ( loaded ) . Now I’m going back to the Present ( |P| ) . But i forgot i want to travel in the Future . Can I do that ? Yes ! But now comes the tricky part . I can travel in the Future ( in the loaded/written buffer/time ) , but how can I be sure that this is the real future ? In time , the “buffer” won’t be loaded exactly . A movie is a movie , but time is more complex . If the buffer of a movie will always be loaded correctly , showing you every time you open the movie there a cowboy shooting , the time won’t be so nice .

   When we are speaking about time , we must take in consideration many factors like weather , small things , animals and humans . There are too many factors ! So , what is that “buffer” ? Well , is one version from hundreds of versions of the Future . Can we travel in the Past ? Yes , but we won’t be able to change anything . Can we travel in the Future ? Yes , but that won’t be the real Future . It will only be a parallel reality. What we think , what we do , what we say can modify the Future . Time is being written in the Present , but also in the Future . 

   If you have a time machine , and you want to travel in the Future to know the correct answers to a test the teacher will give you , when you will come back in the Present you may have the unpleasant surprise to see that the answers are wrong . Besides that , you may have another problem : you won’t be able to return to your reality . Because if you go into the Future , you will switch realities . For every parallel universe , there is a new time-line , a new Present , a new “buffer” .

   So , if you are a fan of the time-traveling subject , just enjoy a movie  ! Time travel will only bring you troubles .
