Tesla Motors Unveils New Super Speed Electric Car
Tesla motors recently unveiled its new super speed electric car that is supposed to be faster than a Porsche 911.
Tesla motor’s CEO and founder, Elon Musk, recently unveiled a battery powered concept of an upgraded Model-S that will be able to go 0-60 (MPH) in 4.5 seconds possibly putting it above the Porsche 911 Carrera. At the unveiling, many high-paying customers to a ride in Tesla’s pre-production model of the car, reaching speeds of 70+ (MPH) in the comfortable 7-seat electric cruiser. According to Tesla, the Model S will be available in mid-2012 at a cost of about $50,000.

The Model S will be controlled by a 17-inch touchscreen mounted in the front seat, and with a high-capacity battery, the Model S will be able to go about 160 miles on one charge (with 230 and 300 mile ranges also available).
