Reincarnation in The Light of Physics
The Author’s theory on the possibility of reincarnation explained thru physics, black holes, information paradox, and string theory.
The universe is vast and full of many mysteries. Our limited minds keep trying to comprehend its glory and find explanations. In many ways, we try to interpret the universe that we are part of: thru science, theology, new age theories, spiritualism, philosophy, and whatever we can come up with as curious human beings. While doing some soul searching thru physics, I came across with the concept of Information Paradox. While I won’t deny that it gave me a headache, I was also fascinated by it. This contradiction was created when Stephen Hawking’s research suggested that particles had no effect whatsoever, in changing the interior of a black hole once they entered it. This meant that the information that entered a black hole was destroyed. This theory violated the principles of Quantum mechanics law of reversibility, or in simple words, to be able to trace the end product of any process back to the conditions that created it (for us, simple minded, let’s call it backtracking). So, if black holes were all the same because particles that entered it had no effect in changing their interior, then, any information that entered it was lost forever, meaning not traceable. This was called the Information Paradox.
A black hole forms when a super-massive object collapses and creates a small point of gravity that is infinite. This is called a singularity. Now, the region’s border in the space that surrounds the singularity is called the event horizon, and any object that crosses that region is supposedly, pulled into the black hole and ceases to exist.
Then, to aggravate my headache, I read something about String theory. In simple words, it stated that all particles in the universe are made of tiny vibrating strings; and that the information will continue to exist in a big tangle of stretchable strings, inside the black hole – filling it all the way to the surface, from the core. This theory suggested that black holes are as unique as the string of particles that they have inside. And this is when, the epiphany hit me.
What if when we die, we go (meaning our energy) to a black hole, but because the information stays in the event horizon, we are reborn, meaning we reincarnate. The farther away from the region’s border, the more able we become to keep some of the information from past lives accessible. In that sense, we would only be able to access past life information in universes without black holes. Thus, to be reborn in a three dimensional world.
But, what about if our essence (energy) is spread throughout these parallel universes – in time and space – creating the illusion of past lives at different time lapses, but coexisting in the universe. There are many mysteries yet to be solved. Not so long ago, people believe that the world was flat (imagine that) and every day we are closer to more discoveries, new information and new beliefs.
So, for now, I will just keep enjoying my simple 3-D life, until is time to transform.

Fascinating article that I won’t pretend to understand. I need an aspirin.
