Is Elvis to be Hologrammed Following Tupac Back in The Spring?
I will admit that the world Hologram was of no interest to me until they decided to do so with Tupac Sukar……..

It’s hard to tell where the love for our favorite Entertainers end and where exploitation of them begins in certain situations. Hologramming them, to some, is immoral. To others, it is creepy, to others it is big money business. This is where it would be nice to simply get off.
The idea is to send the Great Ones out Touring again. It seems so greedy to some. I had to really look it up to see how it’s done but the definition for Hologram is: a negative produced by exposing a high-resolution photographic plate, without camera or lens, near a subject illuminated by monochromatic, coherent radiation, as from a laser: when it is placed in a beam of coherent light a true three-dimensional image of the subject is formed. These images take on real life action in their performances.

Holograms date back to about 1862 and they have been used many times in Theme Parks, such as Disney’s. It’s actually recreating ghost images of the Great Entertainers of the past. Some see this as promising big money business and the creators are definitely lapping up the praises. No one is saying how they are gong to re-tour Mr. Sukar and no one is saying if Elvis Presley will be Hologrammed or will go back on Tour either, but Holograms of him will not be hard to do because the process itself is complicated to a novice but not that extremely sophisticated as some would think, according to the process that I read. Even the living Madonna has been featured in one, so just the matter of a Hologrammed image is not the same as taking them on tour. But the proposition of Michael Jackson returning to Stage with his brothers obviously didn’t happen but the subject has certainly been brought up.
At any rate, Mr. Presley still has a Widow, a Daughter and I am sure other relatives and certainly they would have to approve. It’s hard to believe that he’s been gone for 35 years now and there are questions of re-inventing him the Holographic way. As for Mr. Sukar whose mother is still alive, I just don’t know her opinion of it. But for sure, Snoop Dogg, that was Tupac’s friend, certainly did announce his appearance back in April and for all practical aspects of the video that I saw, it feels eerily real but I still wanted to cry. These people are gone and there are those that would love to feel their souls through the music left behind or of a real performance on video in life, not death. Peace.

I saw a video of Elvis singing with Sheena Eastman that was very good. They looked like they were singing If I Can Dream together. It is a knockout. He has long been dead when the video was made.
