Absence of Color
What truly is color?
Hold an apple in your hand. It could be red, yellow, green or others. We all know that we see color by the light reflecting off the pigment in that particular object and it shows a color.
Now if you were to take that apple into an absolute dark room where you can’t see your hand in your face and all light is absent. What color is that apple? It does not have a color, my theory is that the apple is see through. This means that your body’s inside’s are see through, because no light can go inside, which will make your blood see through and not blue, the only way your blood could turn blue or a dark shade of red is if it is away from all oxygen.
I have had many arguements on this particular subject and people ask me about night vision. How is it possible that you can see “color” in the dark with night vision? I did some research on that and night vision you need some light for it to work. If you use them outside you have all sorts of light. Moon, stars, street lights etc etc.
Although true black is not a color and is the absence of all color. I am still dumbfounded by the fact that people wear black shirts and when you close your eyes you see the exact shade of black. So how are you able to see that black shirt?
There are so many mysteries of this Earth, some I will continue to explore more in depth.
