The Voynich Manuscript – The Most Mysterious Manuscript in The World

Written in the 15th or 16th century The Voynich manuscript is a mysterious, undeciphered illustrated book.

The discovery of ‘ Ramanujan’s lost notebook ‘ caused roughly as much stir in the mathematical world as the discovery of Beethoven’s tenth symphony would cause in the musical world.” So is The Voynich Manuscript now. Voynichmanuscript is one of the most mysterious book ever found.The DaVinci Code was imaginary tale, but TheVoynich manuscript is real and has baffled and mystified scientists around the world. It is described at the most mysterious manuscript in the world and to this day has resisted all attempts at translation. Its code remains one of history’s biggest mysteries for decades. TheVoynich Manuscript is written in an “alien” language. The language written similar in the manuscript has been found anywhere in the world.

Wilfrid M. Voynich an antique dealer discovered it in 1912. The manuscript is small, seven by ten inches, with nearly 235 pages. Voynich wanted to have the mysterious manuscript deciphered and provided photographic copies to a number of experts, but book remains uncoded in spite of the efforts of many cryptologists and scholars There are a lot of handwritten illustrations in the manuscript having characteristic of nature language. In book author writes about recipes, herbs, astronomy, biology, and cosmology and images of plants, planets , zodiac signs,naked women bathing, human organs and maps are seen in the manuscript.

For a long time there has been a suspicion that the The Voynich Manuscript could be a modern forgery, but recently its parchment has been scientifically dated using radiocarbon analysis, showing that the parchment dates from the first decades of the 15th century. So the mystery remains.
