The Theory of Evolution

There is little said about the prehistory of man and what the people at that time believed in. Following the first beginnings of believing in supernatural were the ancient times (3500 BC – 500) when the written and spoken word appeared. Various civilizations established various beliefs in the creation of the world, gods, and man.

There is little said about the prehistory of man and in what the people at that time believed in. Following the first beginnings of believing in supernatural were in the ancient times (3500 BC – 500) when the written and spoken word appeared, various civilizations established various beliefs in the creation of the world, gods, and man. Egyptians had their Egyptian polytheistic religion (their gods Atum, Ra, Amun, etc.), Greek also practice a polytheistic religion having gods for each occasion and virtue (which were later adopted by the Romans), Jews believe/d in Yahweh. Among the various Greek and Roman school of thoughts, the atomists in particular Titus Lucretius Carus, a poet and philosopher supported the idea of biological evolution. (Viney, W., & Brett, D, 2003)

The later rise of new monotheistic religions like Christianity and Islam gave a theological explanation of the creation of the world and man. The Book of Genesis in Judaism’s Torah, the Christian Bible, and Islam’s Qur’an all talk about Adam being the first man and Eve the first woman which God created out of Adams rib. The church dogma was the ultimate truth for centuries and everybody opposing to church believes (e.g. world and man is a creation of God and not evolution or something third) was convicted by the Inquisition. (Comides L., Tooby J, 1997)

Evolution theorist suggest that there is no god.

The theory of evolution is a philosophy and a conception of the world that produces false hypotheses, assumptions and imaginary scenarios in order to explain the existence and origin of life in terms of mere coincidences. The roots of this philosophy go back as far as ancient Greece. All atheist philosophies that deny creation, ectly or in ectly embrace and defend the idea of evolution. The same condition today applies to all the ideologies and systems that are antagonistic to religion. (Sulloway, FJ, 2005)

The evolutionary notion has been cloaked in a scientific disguise for the last century and a half in order to justify itself. Though put forward as a supposedly scientific theory during the mid-19th century, the theory, despite all the best efforts of its advocates, has not so far been verified by any scientific finding or experiment. Indeed, the “very science” on which the theory depends so greatly has demonstrated and continues to demonstrate repeatedly that the theory has no merit in reality.

The person, who originally put forward the theory of evolution, essentially in the form that it is defended today, was an amateur English biologist by the name of Charles Robert Darwin. Darwin first published his ideas in a book entitled The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection in 1859. Darwin claimed in his book that all living beings had a common ancestor and that they evolved from one another by means of natural selection. Those that best adapted to the habitat transferred their traits to subsequent generations, and by accumulating over great epochs, these advantageous qualities transformed individuals into totally different species from their ancestors. The human being was thus the most developed product of the mechanism of natural selection. In short, the origin of one species was another species (Charles Darwin, 1995).

    Really Good info!!
But I would still stick with my faith. If humans evolved from an ape then why do we still see lots of apes in the world, why didn’t they evolved into some thing else

Secondly why apes evolved into humans why not something that could fly.

Great explanation. I believe in adaptation not evolution. God has prepared His creation to adapt to it’s environment and this may come about through mutations but it does not mean that through that environmental adaptation we will become a new species. We may become a more evolved (for lack of a better word)species but not a new species.

God created Adam and Adam was not a monkey – so we did not evolve from monkey’s period.

    Great article.
