The Theories of Evolution

A brief look at evolution’s enormously outlandish theory… and how much faith one needs to swallow it.

Since Charles Darwin penned “The Origin of Species” in 1859, the theory of evolution has been thought to be the touchstone of religion versus science. Although theories contrary to the Bible about the origin of the world have been in existence throughout all of history on every continent, it has been the theory of evolution that is thought to be fact by many scientists. Since so many scientists – medical, botanical, natural, etc., etc. – have taken to this concept, evolution is thought to be a “science”. But it’s not. Evolution is a theory; nothing more. No, wait, it’s also an amazing story!

Evolution holds that every living thing has evolved from much simpler form of life. In other words, humans have evolved from apes; fish have evolved from amoeba, etc. Most evolutionists will profess that we are all evolved from some primordial slime that somehow mutated into all of the life that you see on Earth today. They subscribe to the belief that several billion years ago there was some kind of a spark that began the process of evolution. Of course, since the explanation of how the world came to be in existence is then also raised, they must go further back to the Big Bang theory. So the legend goes, an even more incredible thing happened – several trillion years ago, under the most extreme circumstances, elements rushed together and exploded – creating the universe! Of course, how those elements were there to begin with – well, they just haven’t gotten to that yet. But don’t worry, because everything works on paper and they’ll write that history, too – and it won’t take much because none of their other theories needed any proof, either.

Obviously, there must be some hard science to this! Several thousand scientists can’t be wrong! Science can’t be science without science holding it accountable, can it? Not according to scientists who believe in evolution! Scientific method be damned – hypotheses might just as well be fact!

Let’s be rational, Professor Evolution. How can a man come from an ape? Has an ape bred a human before? Has a fish bred a whale? We can observe that in all of life throughout the entire world that one lifeform can only beget the same lifeform. So, if a human was simply an anomaly, then that would mean that all other forms of life (including the ape itself) would also be an anomaly. What are the odds of that? A trillion to one? The odds of all forms of life being anomalies? A trillion trillion to one? If, then, a human was an eventual evolution, then where are the “missing links”? Even if there was only one step of missing links between the ape and the human, where are they? If they all died off, where are the mountains of bones we should be able to find? After all, if we could find dinosaur bones and they were in the same epoch, why can’t we find all of these bones? Why aren’t they still being born? After all, if an ape made one, why haven’t they since? Moreover, why is the ape still alive when one must assume that the missing link(s) between ape and human must have been more intelligent? Where is their culture? Why can we unearth all of these ancient civilizations, but yet none have anything to do with these missing links? After all, there must have been thousands of missing link cultures, so where are they? And, why is man still man? Why aren’t we evolving? Where’s superMan? Moreover, where’s all the other missing links between EVERY OTHER SPECIES ON THE PLANET? These questions are just the tip of the iceberg and yet not one can be answered with a sliver of proof – and most without a sliver of evidence. This theory of evolution would be such a droll story if it wasn’t taken so seriously – I could believe in extra-terrestrials before this garbage.

What I find so comical about evolutionists is their amusement over “people of faith”. They find it laughable to believe in an all-powerful being that created everything. Yet, their faith in nothing is somehow better…

WOW! Have you done any research on the subject of evolution before you went on your little rampage? You wrote “How can a man come from an ape?” If you had any idea what you were talking about you would know, “Professor Evolution” does not think that Man evolved from the APE. Now to talk about Creationism if you are someone who can honestly believe that when you die you will become anything more than dirt because of a book written by a bunch of authors about some hokus pokus savior than I truly feel sorry for you.

More ill-educated ramblings from the religiously possessed. Even the catholic Church recognised that there is no necessary conflict between evolutionary theory and religion.

The fact that you dont understaned ( and havent taken the trouble to educate yourself about something) does not make it untrue. the fact that you find something hard to believe does not make it untrue.

Evidence dear boy, evidence as Sherlock Holmes might have said. Its what Science has and Biblical Literalists are sorely lacking in. You simply show your ignorance when you write posts such as this. You know neither the first thing about science or about evolution and your religious understanding is clearly paper thin also if it rests on literalism.

Evolution says nothing of humans coming from apes. Actually, that would be a proof AGAINST evolution. Modern animals can’t come from modern animals.
Humans and Apes just have a common ancestor.
