Natura Coloratora Photography and Beyond the Philosophical Senses

What is life without the colors of the rainbow, the shades of the ocean, and the stunning markings of animals? The spectrum of this life shows its contrasts with presentation of immense beauty every day.

Nature is clearly a phenomenon which was originally derived from the supernatural to the galactic universe.  The name itself comes from the Latin word “Natura” or “the course of things”, relating to animals, plants, the sky above, the earth below, the soul of a human being and the aspects of the world.

The Conceptual View of Nature

To assume that nature has a direct relationship with the depth of a human being’s soul goes back all the way to Socrates when he was on trial for heresy and corrupting the minds of the youth of Athens.  Socrates states to the court that “they shouldn’t be concerned with their families, careers, and political responsibilities when they ought to be worried about the “welfare of their souls.”

This philosophical view of nature can still be found today. It implies “a distinction between the natural and the artificial, with the latter being understood as that which has been brought into being by a human consciousness or a human mind.”

With the various uses of the word “nature”, many assume that the general term is associated with the environment and the animals that inhabit it. I believe it is a relation of the things that exist and whom can change their immediate sense of being. Such beings exist in Science in accordance with matter and energy and the Earth, meaning the weather and the geology of the universe. The values of these Scientific constants have been carefully measured, but the reason for their specific values remains a mystery.

Many scientists, who study nature in more precise and structured ways, also share the conviction that nature is beautiful; the French mathematician, Jules Henri Poincaré (1854–1912) said:

“The scientist does not study nature because it is useful; he studies it because he delights in it, and he delights in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful, it would not be worth knowing, and if nature were not worth knowing, life would not be worth living. Of course I do not here speak of that beauty which strikes the senses, the beauty of qualities and of appearance; not that I undervalue such beauty, far from it, but it has nothing to do with science; I mean that profounder beauty which comes from the harmonious order of the parts and which a pure intelligence can grasp.”

“The Happening”

When I viewed the movie “The Happening”, I was perplexed that a random occurrence of nature could affect the entire state of this earth. It was as though the trees and the wind were watching our every move, calculating when we would make a change.

The same happenings are occurring in Outer space. There are no boundaries that separate the Earth’s atmosphere and space, as “the atmosphere gradually attenuates with increasing altitude.”

The moral of this philosophical rant is that we should be aware of our natural surroundings. This is not an effort to go green but, a scientific reaction to the world itself and the nature that surrounds us all.

I absolutely love this article, totally fascinating concepts.
It is the case that many scientists, particularly those involved with quantum physics, become very religious – the beauty, order and symmetry found within our universe are so astounding, they cannot be considered random. As far as science has made advances in knowledge – there is so much that we do not understand.

Understanding that the “Great Rainbow serpent emerged creating the Dreamtime creatures, the land and her features from the dark void,” ( First Australians Dreaming Story )( SBS TV 2008 ) we have the ability today to learn from the oldest living culture here. Nature and Spirit are one, here. Those who colonised Australlia from 1788 cannot grasp the Dreaming. The themes of your writing are spot on. Native American Hopi predict an increase in storms and flooding ( YOuTube ) with nature balancing it all. Wow, you are one hell of a talent! : )
