IT’S ALIVE!

What is real; what is life; and what does it mean to be alive?

You don’t need to be an “Expert” to know that you’re alive. Plain observation provides the questions and answers. You can come up with all the answers by consulting the only expert that matters, you.

No one knows you better than you do. You are the expert as far as your own life is concerned. The age of the “Expert” is in retreat. “Experts” are continually exposed for fabricating research, and promoting personal views as the “Truth.”

The media creates “Experts,” not the scientific community. TV media strives to create drama with words such as “Expert” and “Free.” The TV viewer hears the magic words, “Expert,” and “Free,” and is often persuaded to slow down, pay attention, and buy.

If you want to understand the latest economic crash, consider the financial “Experts.” These are the so-called math wizards, mendacious financiers and bankers. If they are experts in anything, it is gullibility and greed. Bankers blame “Experts” to avoid responsibility for the calamity they create.

Words like “Expert” and “Free” have power and energy. The phrase “knowledge is power” sums it up. This is another way of saying that words have energy.

Energy is information, word, code, data, and intelligence. The reverse is also true. Intelligence is energy. Physically, a particle of energy, such as a photon of sunlight has enough code, information and intelligence to play its part in the dynamics of the cosmos.

Consider that we are all “Experts” when it comes to knowing what life is. Everyone has the know-how to define life. The science community cannot agree on a single definition of life. It’s all speculation, and all viewpoints are created equal.

Life, reality and intelligence are localized in the individual. Generalizations are of little practical use. Even a beam of sunlight, a photon, has enough information, energy, code, and intelligence to find it’s way to your skin and boost vitamin D levels in your body.

What kind of intelligence can light have? Photons of light have the intelligence, energy, information, and code to impact your skin, triggering electron transfer and the synthesis of Vitamin D. In that transition, the photon is not destroyed. Rather the photon of light has enough intelligence to transform itself into another energy form, an electron.

Are sunbeams, light photons, and all forms of energy real, intelligent, and alive? If intelligence is code, then all energy has some amount of intelligence. All stuff has some amount of energy and information.

Life depends on energy code. Genetic code is DNA, deoxyribonucleic Acid. DNA is living, intelligent energy. DNA provides information to perpetually self-transform into other forms of energy. All stuff, animals, plants, minerals, liquids, gases, and people have the energy-code to live, transform, and recycle.

There are perhaps a 100 trillion cells in our body. There are muscle cells, bone cells, skin cells, brain cells and many other organ cells. In addition to DNA, cells have “power supplies,” mitochondria, RNA, ribonucleic Acid. RNA generates, transforms, and recycles cellular energy.

Most cells process: Electrical energy, Magnetic energy, Electromagnetic energy, Light-photon energy, Sound-phonon energy, and Heat energy. All forms of energy are electromagnetic heat, measured as electron volts and degrees Kelvin.

Astronomers show that every square foot of cosmic space is occupied with heat-energy. This is the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, CMBR. All of space, wherever the radio telescopes search, has uniform CMBR heat-energy of 2.7 degrees Kelvin.

This suggests that every bit of space is occupied, There is no empty space. There is no such thing as “nothingness.” There is no such thing as “nonexistence.”

All energy radiates heat and voltage. Heat and voltage are measured as radio frequency and amplitude. The more heat and voltage energy, the higher the wave height, or amplitude. The more energy waves per second, the higher the frequency.

The electromagnetic energy spectrum maps the heat and voltage of all radio frequencies. Low energy and low amplitude (height) waves, of whale calls and sonar, are at one extreme; these energy waves are extremely long, with little energy, voltage, and heat.

High energy, frequency and amplitude waves, such as nuclear radiation, Gamma radiation, X-rays, and Cosmic rays pack the most energy, heat and voltage. Sunlight carries many of these high-energy rays.

It’s alive! Every part of the cosmos is alive, since every part of the cosmos contains energy. Everything, all stuff, all energy is real, alive, and intelligent, even people.

Life consists of biochemical processes, growth, healing, reproduction, communication, change, evolution, adaptation, balance, and organization. Life is energy recycling. Life is a self-perpetuating energy network of information transfer. This shopping list of generalizations defines life, as suggested by the scientific community.

Let’s share a speculation. Assume that life, reality, universe, and cosmos are whatever we personally think they are. So, if life, reality and the cosmos are our own mental pictures, then we all create these in our minds.

A Methodist bishop, teaching a university Bible course that I attended, provided a series of classes on the ‘Evolution of the Bible.’ The course conclusion was: ‘God creates us, and we create God, continually.’ If we replace the word ‘God’ with ‘Cosmos,’ a unique viewpoint emerges.

The inevitable question is; are we both created and creators? From an energy point of view, it might be said that energy creates us, and we create energy.

Look around you. Look out the window. Go outside, take a walk, and look at the sky. Find a stone to sit on. Sitting on a stone you tell yourself, ”The stone feels hard and cold.” Our senses and mind tell us we are sitting on something physical.

Our senses tell us there’s a physical side to life, reality, and the cosmos. Just by thinking about what we see, feel, hear, taste, and smell, we come to realize that everything is both physical and mental.

Imagine yourself in the sun. Hold out your arm. Feel the warmth of the sun on your arm. Now think about the sun as it penetrates your skin. Sunlight is particles and waves of light, or photons.  A suntan is the result of ultra-violet rays, cosmic rays, X-rays, as well as photons from the sun.

No matter how many photons of sunlight penetrate the skin of your arm, you feel the heat, but not any weight. Photons of sunlight travel at the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second.  That’s a speed of almost 670 million miles per hour.

If photons of light were solid stuff, we would not be here to talk about it. At light speed, photons, x-rays, gamma rays, cosmic rays, and neutrinos are forms of heat-energy that are not solid. Light has no mass, no weight, and can pass through the skin with little or no damage to us.

Ten minutes of sunlight can penetrate the skin creating electrons that cause suntan, melanin skin pigment, and even the natural synthesis of vitamin D. “Fast energy” sunlight can transform into “slow energy chemicals.” Vitamin D and all chemicals are solid stuff. These are energy forms that are slower than light speed.

Einstein referred to solid stuff as “crystallized energy,” energy that is slower then the speed of light.  He also suggested that “curvature is gravity,” referring to the geometry of space-time. Based on Einstein’s clues and recent astronomical observations, it’s suggested that “curvature is energy.”

The idea of “energy curvature” suggests that all stuff, all energy, fast and slow, is transformed, recycled, and maintained by curved motion. The geometry of curved motion includes: circles, ellipses, orbits, rotation, spin, sine waves, revolutions, and spirals, to mention a few forms of curvature.

Our earth spins on its axis, rotates daily, and orbits the sun yearly. Our solar system orbits our Milky Way galaxy. The Milky Way galaxy orbits a galaxy system, and galaxy systems spiral along with the expanding curvature of the universe. Our universe, in turn, may be a bubble of space-time in expanding cosmic foam.

Does energy and life depend on cosmic geometry?  If the structure of the cosmos, energy, and life, depend on the curves, spirals and waves of cosmic curvature, how can cosmic curvature geometry provide energy?

Try this experiment:

The next time you drive notice what happens when you make a tight 90-degree turn on a level road. Assume that you enter the turn curve at 20 miles per hour, and coast around the curve with your foot off the accelerator and off the brake.

If you pay close attention, you’ll notice your body is pressed to one side or the other. If you notice the speed when you come out of the curve you are likely to see an increase.

You have just proved that curved motion increases speed and energy.

Next find a quiet local road that is level and empty of traffic. Keep a speed of 20 miles per hour. Travel in as straight a line as possible. Steady the steering wheel. Take your foot off the gas and break for the same 2-3 seconds that it took to make the turn. You should notice a reduction in speed when you move in a straight level line.

Now, you know that curved motion increases energy, and straight motion does the opposite. That, in a nutshell, is the secret of cosmic geometry, energy and life.

Certain rules of geometry seem to apply throughout the cosmos, affecting fast and slow energy.  Pi, pronounced like a piece of ‘pie,’ is the circumference of a circle divided by the diameter. Pi has a constant, unchanging value throughout the cosmos. At least assume the Pi rule is true until proven otherwise. This is a primary rule of cosmic geometry.

Angular acceleration is another rule. The larger the angle of a turn the greater the speed and energy; the smaller the angle, the less energy. So, a one-degree angle is a slight curve from a straight path, and only a slight increase in energy and speed results.

If the cosmos is expanding from an extremely tight curve, like a wind-up toy, over billions of years the spiral curve straightens as it unwinds. The cosmos losses energy as it expands and as the spiral curvature of expansion straightens out.

Phi, pronounced ‘fee,’ also seems to apply everywhere in the cosmos. Phi is the code of spiral motion throughout the cosmos. Spiral energy motion is the main way energy is transformed and recycled.

The double helix of genetic code, cosmic expansion, orbital motion of planets, sea shells, spirals of our ears and fingerprints, are examples of Phi, the Golden Spiral. Phi provides the Golden Ratio of spiral curves throughout the cosmos. At least it looks that way.

What about the really small stuff? How does it get to be big stuff? How does the cosmos endlessly recycle itself?

Immediately during the first instant of this latest cosmic recycling, or Big Bang, the cosmos unwinds, like a wind-up toy. Imagine an end of time when the cosmos has expanded to the point where energy has slowed, cooled, and weakened to such an extent that black holes have consumed all the weak energy, and even each other, until there is only one super black hole remaining.

The rules of cosmic geometry apply everywhere and at all times. Here we have conjured up a super colossal black hole, a Singularity that consumes the cosmos, repeatedly. Concentrating weak cosmic energy and recycling it repeatedly, over billions of years, maybe trillions of years, depends on the rules of cosmic geometry.

Black holes may act like big fish gobbling up small fish, until a single black hole, the Singularity, is packed with a super abundance of weak energy.

Something has to give, and it does. If the Singularity obeys cosmic geometry, then like compressing the gasoline in a full tank truck into the head of a pin, the hugely unstable Singularity, like the pinhead, must satisfy cosmic geometry and explode into another Big Bang, recycling the cosmos endlessly.

In the process of cosmic expansion, over billions or trillions of years, cosmic energy must   cool as it expands. Within the first billionth of that first second of cosmic expansion and cooling, all energy is still so hot that only homogenous cosmic energy soup exists.

If you are keeping track of billionths of that first second, then in the next billionth, expansion and cooling permits the first particles, perhaps electromagnetic energy strings.

As energy strings bump into each other, like boiling water vapor cooling and bumping into each other to produce water droplets, the strings produce the whole subatomic particle zoo: photons, electrons, positrons, protons, neutrons, neutrinos, magnetic monopoles (gravity?), and magnetic dipoles. This occurs within the first few billionths of the first cosmic second.

Into the 14th billion year of this cosmic cycle, most primordial energy particles still exist.   Electrons are spinning, orbiting, and spiraling around each other, slowing and cooling with the rest of the cosmos. Fast energy perpetually transforms into slow energy and back again.

This is why all cosmic energy is alive and intelligent. We are constantly in motion, spiraling to and from the next energy change.

The moral of this story is that there is room for all of us within the network of cosmic energy. We all exist. We are all alive. We are all intelligent. Within this unity of cosmic energy, everything, even people are real, alive and intelligent. It’s not that we want it this way, but rather the energy of cosmic geometry offers no choice.

There is endless existence, life and intelligence for all of us. There can be no such thing as death or non-existence when we realize we are part of the cosmic energy cycle.

As it was, is now, and ever shall be, we are all at home within the womb of the cosmic mother.
