Idiotic Science
On the idea that life got here by chance.
Darwin’s theory of evolution as an explanation of the origin of life on earth is understandable given the lack of information he had access to in his day. After all, he lived in the day when there were no electron microscopes. Although he may have been able to detect the individual cells in an onion skin, he certainly couldn’t detect the complex components of the structure of a single cell… even an onion cell.
Today, scientists who study life have a much better view of the cell and can study such simple animals as the amoeba in detail. In doing so, they find that the simple amoeba is not so simple after all. Instead, it is a rather complex animal. According to chemical engineer, M S Kerringthan a single amoeba consists of over 100 quadrillion atoms of different elements including carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, with trace amounts of calcium, phosphorus and sulfur. In order for those elements to be present in the amoeba, they would have to come from compounds containing those elements, as those elements do not normally exist outside other compounds. Evolutionists would have us believe that all of these elements somehow separated from their compounds and came together in the right proportions by mere chance. As impossible as that may seem there is something even more incredible that they would have us believe.
Any one celled life form has a complex network of parts that keep the cell functioning. One of the components of any animal cell is the DNA. Scientist Isaac Asimov , in his book, The WellSprings of Life would have us believe that,
“Once upon a time, very long ago, perhaps two and a half billion years ago, under a deadly sun, in an ammoniated ocean topped by a poisonous atmosphere, in the midst of a soup of organic molecules, a nucleic acid molecule came accidentally into being that could somehow bring about the existence of another like itself—and from that all else would follow..”
In order for DNA to function in the cell, it is protected by the nuclear envelope. This envelope consists of two membranes which contain pores that function as complex gates which are sometimes open and sometimes closed. They allow the RNA, (another complex acid, evolutionists would have us believe was formed by chance) to enter to gather needed information from the DNA for the cell function.
Questions for a microbiologist who believes in Evolution:
How did the DNA thrive outside that envelope? A cell does not function without both RNA and DNA(The DNA is the blueprint…..the RNA is the messenger)…..but what else was formed by chance for the RNA to take the blueprint to? Did the DNA on its own build all the components of the cell…..if so, why don’t we see that happening before our very eyes today? Why haven’t the DNA in the frozen Mastodons that lie frozen for eons of time reproduced themselves into another Mastodon….or why haven’t the DNA in dinosaur bones reformed themselves over eons of time into dinosaurs…..the harsh conditions existing when the first DNA was supposedly formed are not present where the dinosaurs are buried…..what would happen today if the DNA of an amoeba were put in a toxic bath like the one it supposedly was brought forth in originally? Would an evolutionist who is a microbiologist dare do that? Does DNA thrive in amonia?
The evidence gathered from the examination of just two aspects of the “simple” amoeba….its components at an atomic level, and one of it’s more complex components DNA should prove to any scientific mind that these elements could not have come together to function as they do simply by chance . To believe such an idea is comparable to believing that a person could take the components of a calculator in their most basic forms and somehow over time the parts would come together on their own to form the instrument that can add, subtract, multiply and divide. Only an idiot would believe that.

This article is a classic example of the complete irrationality of the intelligent design (i.e. creationism) movement, which is absolutely NOT a scientific theory on par with evolution by natural selection. ID/creationists like the author always say that complex organisms couldn’t have arisen “simply by chance,” and they are absolutely right because EVOLUTION IS NOT CREATED BY CHANCE, but on the contrary, evolution is propelled by natural selection (survival of the fittest). The individual mutations in DNA occur by chance, but lots of mutations occur and MOST OF THESE MUTATIONS FAIL and cause the organism to die and not pass on its genes, so ONLY THE SUCCESSFUL MUTATIONS which improve the organism’s ability to survive and reproduce are maintained in the gene pool. To say it again: evolution works by a nonrandom process called natural selection (survival of the fittest), so the improbable complexity seen in biological organisms and cells did not arise “simply by chance” (this much the author got right), but THEY DID EVOLVE by natural selection.
On another topic, the word “theory” frequently confuses non-scientific people like the author of this article, who think that it means the same thing as the word “theory” as used in everyday language, meaning an educated guess; on the contrary, in science an educated guess is called a “hypothesis,” whereas a scientific theory is the best explanation for ALL EXPERIMENTAL DATA in a given field, and if even one experiment contradicts any part of a scientific theory, then the theory must be either modified or completely discarded. In the case of Darwinian evolution by natural selection, no such contradictory evidence has been found and the existing evidence is so compelling that all competent biological scientists accept evolution as a truth on par with the “germ theory of disease,” the “theory of plate techtonics,” and the “theory of general relativity (gravity).” Note that all of those are labeled “theories” just like the “theory of evolution by natural selection,” so the next time you hear an ID/creationist argue that evolution is “just a theory,” you can tell them that so were the equations that NASA used to send men to the Moon…oh wait, they probably don’t believe in the moonwalk either. Such is the invariable way of pseudoscience, superstition, and religious faith: believe what you are told by the authorities (i.e. the bible, the pope, the preacher), regardless of any evidence to the contrary, and above all else NEVER question what you’ve been told or try to think for yourself. This article is an insult to scientific and rational sensibilities, and it has no place on any respectable science website among other good pieces of scientific journalism.

This website is, for lack of a better word, worthless. It is a group of “intelligent design” propaganda which takes real science and mutilates it to further religious agendas.

No one seems to be buying the lies contained within this article even when they are called idiots! Ms. burger should know that the “it’s only a theory” attack does not work on anyone with a basic undestanding of the scientific method taught in 8th grade science class….please, for next time, try to do some real research…thank you.
