How Planet Earth Was Born

An article about Earth.

Compared to the rest of the universe, the Earth is still young. Earth was “born” about 4.7 billion years ago. The freshly “born” Earth was completely different from the Earth we know today. It had no atmosphere, no water, and it was lifeless, as the Moon, we know today. But the heat inside the Earth rose and the planet started to change. Heavy elements like iron sunk down towards the core of the Earth, while the lighter elements rose to the surface of the Earth. When the surface cooled down, the minerals started to crystallize, making the first stones and rocks on Earth. But the heat inside made huge volcano erruptions – one of the components of life on Earth.

Earth about 4.5 years ago.

Different from our Moon Earth is full of volcanos. About 600 000 years ago a volcano in North – America a volcano bursted out 100 cube kilometres of lava and ash. but in the past, there has been alot more powerful erruptions.
