Warning: Tropical Storms Could Trigger Earthquake

A storm that started in the southern Gulf of Mexico as rain showers on September 6th is causing enough movement of pressures that it could contribute to the forces already expected to result in an earthquake along the southern and south western edge of the North American tectonic plate within the next two weeks. Based on a chain reaction of natural events it is possible that southern Mexico, Central America and westward into the Caribbean islands will experience an earthquake.

In an article this author published on September 9th, 2011 three predictions from previous articles over the last two weeks concerning earthquakes were detailed. All three of them came to pass. Read the details and explanation in the article, “Vancouver Island Earthquake Was Predicted Last Week – Here’s Another Prediction”. The article is found at http://scienceray.com/earth-sciences/vancouver-island-earthquake-was-predicted-last-week-heres-another-prediction/ .

In that article this author explains his prediction,

“I now predict that within the next two weeks there will be an earthquake on the south – south eastern edge of the North American tectonic plate in the Caribbean area where the North American tectonic plate meets the Caribbean plate and along that fault line going eastward along the edge with the South American plate…The most likely point of release of pressure seems to be the Caribbean plate, specifically along Central America (with impact being felt in Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and southern Mexico) and eastward to the Caribbean islands.”

The rain showers that started on September 6 out of a stationary low pressure system increased in intensity while in the southern Gulf of Mexico. On the afternoon of September 7, the system had become Tropical Storm Nate. Nate continued to strengthen with winds reaching 110 km/h but remaining pretty much stationary in location.

Then on the morning of September 9, Nate weakened slightly as a result of dry air in the western part of the Gulf of Mexico and began to move to the northwest. Dry air and a lack of atmospheric instability contributed to Nate’s winds decreasing to 85 km/h.

Even if Nate does not evolve into a hurricane, it already has and continues to apply stress on the existing pressure dynamics of the region. The fault lines in the area include: North American – Caribbean fault, North American – Cocos fault, Cocos – Caribbean fault, abd Cocos – Caribbean – Nazca fault. The recent movements of the North American tectonic plates that have resulted in a series of tornadoes have resulted in temporary equilibriums with the faults.

Fault lines are where earthquakes occur because it is where the movement occurs in the earth’s crust. It is the friction arising from the weight and mass of the plates against each other that causes them to remain fairly stable. However, forces from below the crust, masses on the surface (e.g. water, wind), release of pressure of other fault lines, gravity, radiation, magnetism and other terrestrial and extra-terrestrial influences can disturb the pressure equilibrium enough to overpower the fault line friction point and then you have movement. That movement we experience as an earthquake.

If you live in or are traveling to southern Mexico, Central America or the Caribbean, you might want to be prepared. You can read about how to create your Disaster Emergency Plan for free at http://gomestic.com/emergency-preparation/make-a-disaster-emergency-plan-in-only-20-minutes-for-free/ .
