In geography, a volcano is defined as an opening or a crack in the Earth’s crust, which facilitates the release of hot magma, ash and other gases under the planet’s surface. Ability to cause volcanoes widespread destruction makes them one of the most feared forces of nature.

Among the various types of volcanoes, super-volcanoes are by far the most destructive. One of the best examples of the chaos that these destructive forces of nature can create is the eruption of Mount Vesuvius that buried the entire city of Pompeii, in 79 BC, Mount Vesuvius is one of the many volcanoes in the world.
