Raffaele Bendandi, Thirty Years Ago, Had Provided The Earthquake in Japan?

An Italian pseudo scientist provided, in 1979, the terrible earthquake in Japan.

Raffaele Bendandi (Faenza, October 17, 1893 – Faenza, November 3, 1979) was an Italian pseudo scientist. During the Fascist period was appointed Knight of the Order of the Crown of Italy. Later he was forbidden from Mussolini to publish forecasts on earthquakes, otherwise it would have been sent into exile. His theory is based on the fact that the Moon as the other planets of the solar system, including the Sun, are the cause of the movements of the earth’s crust. Through his studies he has been able to predict some earthquakes in Italy:
- Marsica earthquake of 13 January 1915 (Avezzano were destroyed by the earthquake and almost the entire territory of the Marsica. At Avezzano, a town of about 13,000 inhabitants, only 3,000 survived. The town of Sora, in Lazio, was destroyed, nearly 3,000 the recorded victims. A year later an earthquake of 5.2 in L’Aquila);

- Marche earthquake of January 2, 1924 (in this case he erred of two days, because it took place on January 4, 1924 in Senigallia);

- Earthquake in Friuli, 6 May 1976.

He tried to warn the authorities, but was treated like a crazy charlatan. Among his writings Bendandi had left some predictions for the future. But after his death, someone tried to burn his papers. But some fragments of these papers have been remained intact, and on these fragments have been written two dates that, seeing what happened in Japan, are perturbing: 2011 and 2012. The dates are not accompained by a geographic and in the notes written there is no name of the place where the earthquake will happen, but only years. This date gives creeps, above all thinking what happened to the Japan. Perhaps Bendandi had planned this terrible disaster. If so, Bendandi was right. The other date is 2012. Also here there is nothing about the geographical location of the earthquake, but is given only a year. The hope is that Bendandi has made a mistake and that what is written is casual. We hope that this won’t happen. It makes to think. Though within us all this can only make us think.

    What a load of bs. Earthquakes happen daily around the world. To just give a year (or two) and no location does NOT count as a prediction – it is just a stupid stab in the dark. How can any reasonable person take this rubbish seriously!

    No one including the USGS and the Japanese ISV is concerned about the thousands of small temblors… so the comment “earthquakes happen daily around the world” is a cop out to the reality. The concerns are about the ones 5.0 and bigger as they cause damage and loss of life.. Luke 21:11 “11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” No concern over small earthquakes, but “great earthquakes”. Take that for what it’s worth… But these scientific agencies are very concerned about and are researching and developing methods for predicting great earthquakes, not the thousands of tiny ones per day.

    he could have specified the tsunami, cause that’s what killed a lot of people, not the earthquake, big earthquakes happen all the time, there about 3-6 big earthquakes a year, usually the ones with more deaths get the attention. For example the one in Haiti got lots of attention because of the death and damage, but that wasn’t even a big earthquake.

    Whoever wrote this: go to a damn ESL class before you “write” in English again. “Provided” the earthquake? F off. At least buy a dictionary.

    No way he can predict exactly where and when the earth quake happen! Can’t believe it, but he was right at least 3 times, that’s mean alot of thing. I thing we should study about his theory, that unbelievable!

    I have reported what is the reality, what Bendandi left and what is left after his papers were burned by someone unknown. In his papers there wasn’t written the place where this would happen, probably because Bendandi studied movements of the planets and their force of attraction on the earth, and maybe he had seen that this year and probably the next (there is also the date 2012), something would happen. I am sad for the Spanish brothers! I hope that the earthquake will stop! We are all children of this land, and we must help each other. Let’s keep informed, we try to stay close even though we are far away! Spain, the world is with you!
