Have you ever wounded what the coldest places in the world are? Well here are the answers. Earlier I wrote an article on the hottest places on earth and to correspond with that, I thought it might be a good idea to write on the coldest places, so here it is.

Vostok Station is located in the South Pole and is the location of the lowest temperate on record of -128.6F on the 21st of July 1983.

Again in Antarctia, Plateau Station is the location of the second lowest temperature measured at -119.2F in central Antarctica
Oymyakon, Russia
Oymyakon is located on the banks of the Indigirka River, Russia. The population is 800. On January 1926 a temperature of – 96.2F was recorded.
Verkhoyansk Russia
Also in Russia is Verkhoyansk, on the Yana River near the Arctic Circle. The population of this town is around 1,400 people. It is the third smallest town in Russia. The town has an airport, and a river port for transportation. Verkhoyansk is known for its extremely low temperatures with a average winter temperature of -58F and is home to the forth lowest temperature in history of -89F.
Northice Greenland
Northice was the name given to a research station located in Greenland operated by the British. The lowest recorded temperature of -65.9C was recorded on the 9th of January 1954.
