A Feast for Nature Lovers:

New features in Google Earth.

Thanks Google. Google Earth has received acclaim from every nook and corner. Now it has introduced in its version 5.0, a new interface: Google Ocean. It is another advancement of putting technology in the right use to enhance understanding and appreciate the beauties of nature below sea.

Earlier, with Google Earth, one could reach the top of K-2 or crosses Shara without any sweating and at the luxury of computer chair.

Here, with the Google Ocean one can have the luxury like fulfillment of tracing the travel route if whales across the planet’s seas san swimsuit, among innumerable various under sea activities. Yes all without swimsuit.

Oceans occupy around 75% of our planet and an estimated 80% of life on Earth abode there.

Moreover, only less than 6% of that life has been explored by humans yet. Certainly, Google Earth cannot be complete if it ignores 70% of its area. Inclusion of Ocean interface into Google Earth was must to make it exhaustive. It has been further subdivided into 20 ocean layers of varied data, images, and videos on life in the marine. It is a base for amateurs, students, and researchers alike.

However, it is still in initial phase, still, I would say it is a giant leap. In the coming years we will definitely see lot of developments and improvements in it.
