The Ice Age Extinction Event

The Post flood events were largely responsible for the mass extinctions of all these mega fauna while mankind somehow, managed to escape these Ice age extinction events.

Sabre Long Teeth Tiger Lost  In the Ice Age (Andrew Lost #12)

Scientists and experts around the world have advanced many theories about the Ice age extinction event which saw many species like woolly mammoths, sabre toothed tigers, giant cave bears, giant eagles, dragons, all got stressed to extinction on our planet while human beings somehow, continued to survive the hostile conditions. The  following are some of the theories mentioned in the Ice age extinction of other animals;

Comet or Asteroid Impact Theory

Some scientists believe extraterrestrial bodies like comets and asteroids caused the mass extinctions of mega-fauna during the ice age but many other scientists feel this is not a strong explanation for the impact theory as the factor behind ice age extinctions. Their argument in refuting this theory is based on the fact  that nano-diamonds traces  have never been found to support the impact theory of comets and asteroids.

Facts Based On Book of Genesis

The book of Genesis identifies basic facts into earth history and it has highlighted a more poignant interpretations of past events, including that of the Older and Younger Dryas believed to be responsible for the ice age  extinctions of mega fauna.

The Ice age extinctions according to the Bible happened as a singular event rather than multiple times.It was a consequence of Noah’s flood, an event which heated ocean waters enough to cause the evaporation needed to transfer massive precipitation onto the post-Flood continents. As the global water bodies cooled, massive glaciers from high latitude zones melted, causing colossal floods which in turn drained into the ocean and dramatically dropped the ocean temperatures and altered weather patterns leading to the older and younger Dryas 700 years later.

The Post flood events were largely responsible for the mass extinctions of all these mega fauna while mankind somehow, managed to escape these Ice age extinction events.

    Just great how you managed to link the Biblical point of view to real life.
