Evolution is not a proven science, but just a theory created by scientists who think they have found the answers to origin of life. There has never been any proof that humans and apes came from a common ancestor or evolved. No species had to gain features every million years to survive, or how could they have survived waiting to evolve appendages? Evolution is the theory that animals and people evolved from germs and into what they are today.
The universe was thought to have always been here until- Bang! A small spot called the Big Bang created the universe 15,000,000,000 years ago. The Big Bang was a gigantic explosion that started the universe’s expansion (LaRocco). “Irtons” from spontaneous generation is when hydrogen was made from nothing and spread out into the universe. The new matter had to go somewhere, because the two objects could not take up the same place at the same time. The matter was pushed farther into deep space ( “The Steady State Theory). All the engery and matter ever known was contained at this one point. The Big Bang was thought to be an eruption of space within itself, but it was not like the explosion of a bomb where the fragments are thrown away from the bomb. The universe’s foundations rather than galaxies clumped together were created by the Big Bang. The universe would have to be hot at this time, but after a few moments, the matter and antimatter begin to cool. As the universe begins to expand, common particles appeared: quarks, neutrinos, photons, and electrons. These small particles were the building blocks of matter and life (LaRocco).
The Big Bang has one big flaw. If the Big Bang created the universe, what caused the Big Bang and how can nothing come from nothing and what was before it that caused it? Written in Scientific America:
The first, and main, problem is the very existence of the big bang. One may wonder, What came before? If space-time did not exist then, how could everything appear from nothing? What arose first: the universe or the laws governing it? Explaining this initial singularity-where and when it all began-still remains the most intractable problem of modern cosmology (1994, 271[5]:48.) (“Scientific Reasons Why The Big Bang Theory Cannot Be Correct”). The true of the matter is that there was never a Big Bang. How could space explode and perfectly create the planets, stars, and earth. God create everything perfectly in six days, not an explosion.
Evolutionists believe that dinosaurs and humans did not live at the same time. Over 99% of biological and geological scientists support the theory that evolution of dinosaurs happened long time. Scientists believe that over 70 million years ago an asteroid crashed into the Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Over 70% of the species went extinct. However, Christians believe that if dinosaurs were found today, the evolution theory would collapse. The DNA in dinosaur bones could prove that dinosaurs are only thousands of years old and not millions of years old, because DNA couldn’t remain in one piece that long a period of time. A writer from the Crying Voice in the Wilderness wrote, “Some fragments of DNA were found in supposedly 80 million year-old bones. This means that the dinosaur were only a couple of thousand years old.” This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that humans and dinosaurs did coexist together (“The Theory of Evolution: What Would It Take To Disprove It”).
Evolution has been teaching the erroneous belief that humans and dinosaurs lived millions of years apart. The Bible says that humans and dinosaurs, also known as dragons in the past, were created on the same day. There is past evidence of art work and ancient artifacts portraying live dinosaurs by themselves or with humans. Examples are burial cloths and stones, clay figurines, and cave drawings. Fossilized footprints of dinosaurs and humans have been found together (“Evidence That Humans and Dinosaurs Lived Together, at the Same Time”).
Scientists and creationists always argue if there is any proof of transitional fossils in the fossil bed. A transitional fossil appears to look like it is from an organism from two lineages. This means it shares some characteristics of lineage A and lineage B, and some characteristics part way between the two. A transitional fossil should be found somewhere between the ancestral lineage and the beginning of the descendent lineage (Isaak). Transitional fossils is the evolutionary development of one species to another (Neyman).
The truth of the matter is there is no such thing as transitional fossils. A question commonly asked by creationists is, “Why are there no transitional fossils?” Creationists believe that a transitional fossil is part of two different animals. Every fossil is complete unto itself and every organism is a whole living thing (“Why There Are No Transitional Fossils”). Creationists put up a good argument that an organism in the process of changing could not possibly be fully suited to its old environment it is evolving in. If an organism was evolving a wing or eye, it would be at a disadvantage until its eye or wing is fully developed (“What Good is Half a Wing”). Animals were already created whole by God and do not need to evolve to a new form to live.
The earth is only a few thousands of years old and not billions of years old. The earth is still young despite what evolutionists think. Evidence is all around the world to prove that the earth is only about 10,000 years old. Six billion people could have easily been generated from Noah and his family, eight people, in less than four thousand years. The oldest coral reef in the world is less than forty-two thousand years old, and the oldest tree is about forty-three thousand years old. Old historical records are no more than 6000 years old. Niagara Falls is less than 8400 years old because its erosion rate is four to seven feet per year, and Noah’s Flood may have helped eroded part of the seven and a half mile falls (Hovind 11,12). In “Holt Earth Science”, “A gorge about 7 ½ miles long runs just below Niagara Falls. A simple calculation shows that it has been 9900 years…” (“Holt Earth Science”). The oceans only contains 3.6% of dissolved minerals, giving the oceans its salinity. If the earth was billions of years old, the ocean would be saturated with salt (Hovind 33).
Evolutionists believe mutations are helpful in the evolving of one form to another. Are mutations harmful or helpful? If any kind of organism is bred under conditions where it has to build up chance mutations, the organism’s fitness will almost always decay. An experiment was done in 2007 by Silander on the mutations in Drosophila, fruit flies. With the help of computer simulations, the possibilities of beneficial mutations in the fruit flies were zero (Betancourt). Harmful mutations would force a strict limit on the number of genes. Mutations are expected to cause a great loss of fitness than do non-heritable failures. No gene product is error free from a mutanted gene (PAI). Mutations did not help animals evolve because there are no helpful mutations. All mutations are harmful and could not have possibly helped organisms evolve.
Evolution must qualify as a fact by being observed, tested, and repeated. Since none of these steps are possible for evolution, it cannot be said that it is a science. The horse is sometimes used as an example for proof of evolution. Evolutionists have gathered fossils from different parts of the world and claim that these are the modern horse’s ancestor. They show the horse growing in size from one the ancestral horse to the modern horse. Different size horses live today, ranging from the size of the Clydesdales to the Lilliputan horse no bigger than a dog, proving that the horse did not evolve (“The Revolution Against Evolution”). Actually the three-toed Eohippus horse is a civet cat skeleton displayed at a museum.
The Archaeopteryx has been used by evolutionists as a link between birds and dinosaurs. The Archaeopteryx has hollow bones and a wishbone just like an ordinary bird. Several modern birds have teeth or tooth like projections like the saw bill, the white-fronted goose, the grey-lag, and the pink-footed goose. A modern South American bird, hoatzin, has claw-like structures on its wings like the Archaeopteryx’s wing claws. The bird with reptile features is just another created bird no more strange looking than a modern bird (“The Revolution Against Evolution”).
The pepper moth is thought to be two different, evolved species, because one is black and the other white. The true is the moths are the same animals, none of them ever evolved. The result of two different colored moths is because of factories that darkened the trees with smoke. There is no evidence of change from one species of moth to another or mutation. The moths learned to adapt with a change of environment. The peppered moth is a result of God’s creation, a balance between creature and environment (“The Revolution Against Evolution”).
Evolution is no more true than pigs flying and pink elephants. What is the purpose of animals and people evolved to something more complicated? Professor Louis, a former president of Biological Society of Strasbourg, says, “Evolution is a fairy tale for grownups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless.” (Hovind). God created man and animal whole and complex. God is the one who created everything that is here today. Nothing had to evolve in order to get this far in life.

In science, a theory is a well-supported and tested explanation of some aspect of the natural universe based on observable facts. Evolution is a fact. Natural selection is a theory that explains evolution. Natural selection is indeed a theory, but in the same sense that Newton’s theory of gravity, atomic theory and the germ theory of disease are all theories. Furthermore, evolution says nothing about the origin of life. Maybe, you should look up abiogenesis.

Unfortunately for your argument, salt is removed from ocean as quickly as it is formed by rivers. Creationist Melvin Cook had this to say about it:
“The validity of the application of total salt in the ocean in the determination of age turned out to have a very simple answer in the fact shown by Goldschmidt (1954) that it is in steady state and therefore useless as a means of determining the age of the oceans. [Cook, 1966, p.73]“

In fact, if you had even read the first paragraph you would have seen that the authors say “In large populations, beneficial mutations are frequently fixed, whereas deleterious mutations will only be fixed if they are of vanishingly small effect size”.

Vertebrate paleontologist use an arsenal of tools to determine ancestry, such as cladistics. Evolutionary scientists do not construct ancestral relationships based solely on the size of an animal.

Birds like the hoatzin only have claws in the juvenile stage of development. In fact, that birds that have a juvenile stage with claws confirms the reptilian origin of birds.

Although I do not agree with your opinions on this subject I think that you’ve had some very unfair criticism for what is a well written article.

Erm… I think the fact that it is a ‘theory’ means that it’s pretty good science, and it’s about as ‘proven’ and any theory can hope to be. You seem to be mistaking the word ‘theory’ for the work ‘hypothesis’.
And there are creatures with ‘half an eye’ that, indeed, serve them very well. In fact eyes range from simple light sensitive spots to the lens-less pits of the nautilus right up to the finely tuned cameras of an eagle (which are around eight times better than human eyes and have filters and glare reduction adaptations that even our eyes don’t possess).
You ask: what good is half a wing? Why don’t you also ask: what good is a wing to an ostrich? Come to that: what good are leg bones to a whale? Why create a whale with lungs when it is going to spend it’s life in the sea?
These ‘half eye’ ‘wathcmaker’ arguments are old, tired and worst of all not valid.

you people are ridiculous i agree with this article to an extent plus you have to be blind to think that scientists give us all there information. For all we know the theory of evolution has been disproved but they don’t want to tell us for all we know there could be a god and the government doesn’t want us to know. It could happen Magic Johnson is still alive with A.I.D.S and you mean to tell me he doesn’t have some kind of cure? All I’m saying is because you people are closed minded and believe everything people tell you does not give you the right to condemn this work. I thought it was very interesting myself.

@simonbelmont: As someone who does actual evolutionary research I can confirm that there is no scientific conspiracy. Science is about trying to falsify hypotheses, not trying to shield ideas from criticism. Furthermore, as a palaeoanthropologist who has actually studied the evidence first hand, I do in fact think that I do have the right to condemn anybody’s work that I believe to be misinformed or just plain wrong.

Evolution is a fact. Anyone who doesn’t believe this is kidding himself.
Here’s the evidence for Creation.-
God said so:
The data source for this: Religious manuscripts that differ from religion to religion.
I believe it:
This requires no data source as proof. One of the reasons given for this is: Proof denies faith; in other words, if there was any hard evidence for creation or God, it wouldn’t be worth believing… for some strange reason.
Creation is true and that’s an end to it:
This argument is often backed up with the erronious notion that the Earth is only 6000 years old. Any real facts will be blocked on the grounds that any evidence against creationism no matter how compelling or real, must be a contrivance by Satan in order trick mankind; a circular argument that neither logic nor common sense can ever penetrate.
And the evidence for Evolution.-
A very real fossil record that, although it has gaps, more and more of those gaps are being filled in as time passes.
A living anatomical record. All life on earth can be placed on a tree graph showing clearly its relationship with other species ranging from the most primitive bacteria to the most complex mammals. Most species also exhibit vestigial anatomical structures at some time in their development that were only useful to an ancestral form. For instance, the embryos of all vertebrates (back-boned animals) are identical in appearance. They develop through various stages that resemble simple multicellular organisms. As they develop the characteristic backbone, blood system and nervous system of vertebrates, they also develop gills and other organs only needed by those first vertebrates, the fish. In fish, of course, these organs are retained and mature. In land animals, including humans, the organs disappear as the animals develop legs and body forms suitable for land life.
Genome: All species share a large percentage of genes with each other. Closely related species show their relationship by having fewer differences in their genome. Some species retain genes from earlier forms that have functions that the modern organism no longer requires.
Last but not least: Some creatures don’t make any logical sense as ‘a creature created especially for its particular niche’. An ostrich is a giant winged bird. Why create something with wings if it will never fly? Why create a whale? A sea going creature that has leg bones and breaths air? Why do humans have an appendix? A vestige of an organ that plant eating primates use to digest tough woody vegetable matter?
The evidence for Evolution is overwhelming and it really is time people accepted it.

Beverly, I’m just going to comment about one thing here, because macbruski has pretty much covered all the bases.
You should check your “facts”. Using ‘Dr.’ Kent Hovind as a source is pitiful, the man is a fraud in multiple realms (his taxes don’t check out and neither does his Dr. title).
To quote your article:

-Do you always call academics by their first name? His full name is Louis Bounoure.
-He wasn’t president of the Biological Society but he was professor of biology at the University of Strasbourg.
-The quote is taken out of context, the first half (up to grownups) is actually a misquote of something Jean Rostand said (substitute transformism with evolution) and the second half is a rather lazy paraphrasing from a book Bounoure wrote called Determinism and Finality.

just look at fossil record. it is written by the same kind of humans who wrote the bible. it just depends on what you think makes sense. im going with the more recent one. the one with credentials and the one which has a backing in reality. if Beverley isn’t trolling i’m not investing much hope for humanity. she posts as if she has observed god, and science hasn’t observed evolution. the definition of evolution makes it impossible to “observe” in those terms. although it has been observed in microorganisms.

I don’t really care if people believe in evolution, but I believe there is a God. If people keep trying to put down God, then he is real, or else why would people try to say bad things about him.

Evolution justs says we came from some germs or monkeys and we have no purpose in life. Where are the transitional fossils to bridge the gaps? Why are we not still evolving? God gave us a purpose to live and make our lives meaningful not evolution. So whoever out there thinks they are going to unnerve me, forget it, I know that God is real.
