Researchers at the U.S. National Science Foundation in collaboration with experts from the Natural History Museum in Beijing, China studying the newly discovered dinosaur fossils which experts say is the oldest record of the colors in bird feathers.
Fossil is the pigeon-sized four-winged dinosaur called Microraptor, lived about 120 million years ago at the height of the dinosaur, called the Cretaceous period. The bird that looks like a dinosaur and the long-tailed pair circuit equipped with a pointed feather.
After comparing details of the motifs and colors of dinosaurs with feathers of modern birds, scientists believe that Microraptor fur is glossy black with a sheen like the feathers of modern crow.
Many species of birds that have feathers riveting and seems designed to attract a partner.
Paleontologists say the evidence that Microraptor most shiny fur, feathers generally assert that it is important to look even since the beginning of its evolution about 120 million years ago.
