I have had this fossil for probably close to 10 years now. I had found it when I was around 8 or 9 years old in my back yard when my father had been digging a hole. At the time, I didn’t know much about fossils or anything like that, so I stuck it in a plastic bag and put it away in one of my boxes. And as I was recently going through all of my old things, I came across my fossil. Now that I’m older, I would like to know more about it.
     In the photo below, I placed the fossil on the cover of my notebook so you could roughly tell the size of it.

     Someone had mentioned that it may be a Trilobite, but when I did a quick search on them, they didn’t seem to quite fit the shape of what mine looks like. As you can see above, the fossil has pieces of more than one object on it. The middle one appears to be whole, and there is about a third of one on the bottom. But there seems to be a tiny piece of another one to the far right side. So I’m guessing that there was a group of whatever the fossilized creature is. I thought that since the rock is broken off, there might be more pieces to it, but finding them would require digging up my yard. So unless it’s valuable, or a good discovery, I’m not really planning on ruining my yard.

     I really don’t know what to make of it, and I don’t know where to go or who to contact for help in identifying this fossil. Any information you can provide would be helpful! So if you know anything about this, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
