What’s with Their Names?

Hurricane names.

Katrina, Irene, Floyd…who could these names belong to? If you are thinking of actors or actresses, you might possibly be right.  But these are just some of the names of hurricanes that hit the world.  Since, the 1950’s, people have thought of a way to tell which hurricane is more devastating than the other. Some had a hard time telling the exact date when a hurricane happened, so they named it.  A brilliant idea! It is more convenient for a person to remember a name rather than a year.  These names are arranged according to the order of the alphabet depending where you are in the world.  It also helps scientists and normal people alike to tell what hurricane will and did hit them like a bull.  It helps a lot of people.

Alas, thinking of hurricanes that came from human names, some people are psychologically intimidated by these things. Some would hope that people with heavy loss could separate this issue with them.
