After coming across many articles on amazing islands, the tallest building, the deepest well, flying animals etc. you might be even curious to know about the windiest place in the world.

To be more precise as per the records the speed of wind recorded on earth was 231 miles per hour till date.

The record was set in New Hampshire at Mount Washington. Though, in United States or any other location in Antarctica it is very unusual to find speed of the wind to be so high.

Talking about the place which faces higher wind speed than any other location it is Commonwealth Bay on the coast of Antarctica where wind speeds are 200 miles per hour on average and so it can be considered as the windiest place on earth.

One more fact about wind speed is that, at 50 miles per hour the atmosphere temperature of zero degrees will also be felt like 56 degrees and so you can imagine what will 200 miles per hour wind speed be like.
